This five-day seminar will be taught by WAWE judges Mário Pimentel and António Vicente, both from Portugal.

There will be the opportunity to attend as either a Judge Candidate (or licensed Judge working on advancement), a Technical Delegate Candidate, or a Silent Auditor.

Judge Candidates and licensed Judges working on advancement will be seated at the front of the room and will have extended opportunity for interaction with the two judge trainers.

Technical Delegate Candidates will be seated together and will have the opportunity for practicum experience on-the-job training during the licensed competition on March 17th.

Silent Auditors will be able to attend the seminar, but will be seated in a separate area from Judge Candidates and licensed Judges working on advancement to ensure that the quality of the judges’ learning opportunity is as high as possible.

The seminar will include both classroom lecture and practice judging, as well as a written and oral exam (for those seeking licensure).

We will also be holding a one-day licensed competition (Friday, March 17th) in conjunction with this seminar, to enable judge candidates the opportunity to practice judging.
